In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, we start a full day of Bagan sightseeing by the horse cart. Our first stop is Nan Paya Pagoda, one of four Bagan monuments built of sandstone. By the way, we take a visit to other interesting sites nearby. Then, we move to Minkaba Gubyaukyi Temple which was built to enshrine the golden image. The temple is a fine temple in the Early Style, square, with a vestibule in the east. Continue to experience the architectural difference in MyaZedi pagoda before heading to Manuha Temple. Leave the ancient city of Bagan, we continue our journey by a flight to Heho which is the gateway to the Southern Shan State. Once landing the Heho airport, our driver of will pick us up and help us transfer to Inle Lake. It can be said that this journey is very interesting because we can pass through the lush green countryside of the Shan Hills. We also stop at the family owned Shan paper umbrella workshop. Here, we witness the skilful hands of the local people using paper and pieces of bamboo to make the beautiful umbrellas. The Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery is our last stop before reaching Inle Lake. The monastery is a fascinating building made of teak wood. Upon arrival at Inle Lake, we quickly make check-in procedure and then take a long tail boat to go further into the lake. It is easy to realize why many people call the lake as "Emerald of Myanmar". Up and down the lake have many temples, monasteries with golden pinnacles brightening on the sunlight. Afternoon, discover Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda where houses the five Buddha images. These images are covered with gold in order to make visitors not be able to see the original form. The most special sight on Inle Lake is floating gardens where the local use the water hyacinth combining with seaweed on the bottom of the lake to keep the soil to grow more vegetables such as tomatoes, mint, etc. Today we move by boat to Indeinn to witness the farmers harvesting their crops and rarely known site of Indein which still remains hundreds of ancient brick stupas and pagodas dated back to 17th century the ancient Shweinndein Pagoda. It will be a shortcoming if you are on Inle Lake without discovering the life of the leg rowing Intha fishermen. Today, we will spend time meeting them and listening to their sharing of life and difficulties in life. You also have chance to try rowing by legs with the local fisherman. Besides, they will teach you the way to catch fishes. The attraction which only has on Inle Lake Myanmar is the image of men in traditional longyi standing on boat, just fishing and rowing unhurriedly by one leg, which can be seen as an artist on the smooth surface of the lake.
