Join the Ananda to embark on your journey and settle into your suite before lunch. (Guests arriving on early morning flights can book an optional tour of the city for an additional charge). Afternoon excursion by coach to Amarapura with its textile workshops and Sagaing, the centre of the Buddhist faith in Myanmar which is renowned for its monasteries, pagodas and nunneries as well as its silversmiths. A boat will take by the U Bein Bridge to enjoy the sunset with drinks. Return to the ship for cocktails and dinner, after which enjoy a traditional musical performance in the Kansi panorama lounge.

Ava

Enjoy early morning meditation or yoga on deck before breakfast, after which travel by horsecart to Ava which for five centuries was the ancient imperial capital and visit the monasteries and pagodas of Bagaya. Return to the ship to sail along the Ayeryarwady southwards to Bagan. Spend the afternoon enjoying the shifting scenery along the riverbank from sun deck by the pool or from the Kansi panorama lounge, or simply relax on your private balcony. Also on offer is a selection of demonstrations and lectures to help you learn more about this magical country. Anchor for the night.

Pakokku to Bagan

Early morning yoga and meditation on deck, otherwise breakfast at leisure before taking a trishaw to Pakokku to visit the local market, the traditional shoe and cheroot factories. Return to the ship for lunch, after which take a coach tour of Bagan to see some of the most important temples and pagodas among the 2,000 which comprise this most magnificent archaeological site - the Ananda, the Htilominlo and the Pyathatgyi. Wonder at the sunset from the Pyathatgyi temple before returning to the ship for dinner and a traditional Burmese musical performance.

Bagan

  Take some morning activities, sail to Sale, drop by Yoke Sone Monastery and wooden monastery of Thartana Yaunggyi, back to Bagan, visit Shwezigon Pagoda and Gubyaukgyi temple

Choose one of two early morning optional excursions - a balloon ride over Bagan (at an additional charge) or sunrise meditation at one of the temples. After breakfast sail southwards to Sale where a trishaw awaits to take you to visit Yoke Sone Monastery and the wooden monastery of Thartana Yaunggyi before returning to the ship for lunch. In the afternoon cruise back to Bagan and visit the sacred Buddhist Shwezigon Pagoda which houses a bone and tooth of the Gautama Buddha and the Gubyaukgyi Temple. Return to the ship by horsecart and enjoy your farewell dinner.

Bagan – Check out cruise – Fly to Inle

Disembark after breakfast. Then you Take flight to Heho and visit Inle Lake. It is incomplete if you visit Myanmar without a visit to Inle Lake – considered as a Venice of Myanmar. As Heho is at your sight, you will have another drive to the Nyaung Shwe town, and pay a short visit to Shwe Yan Pyay Wooden Monastery along the way. Next up, you take a boat and head out to Inle Lake, passing by villages on silts and taking chance to witness the unique technique of local’s one-leg rowing and see their floating gardens. Later, have a joyful lunch at a local restaurant in Inle Lake. In the afternoon, you will travel the Inpawkhone village and Cherrot factory to see the specialty of Burmese hand-rolled cigars. Then leave for Pahung Daw Oo Pagoda and Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery with dozens of Shan Buddha Images. Later, you will head forward to tour around the floating gardens in the area of Inle Lake before getting back to the hotel of Inle Lake View Resort and have a good night.

Inle - Indein sightseeing by boat

Next up, you will travel for the Shwe Inn Dein pagoda complex through a bamboo groove. And you will capture the ruin Shan style stupas which were missing for decades and those relics and images were stolen, ruined or destroyed. Free until transfer to Heho Airport to take flight to Yangon. Upon your airport arrival, you will be greeted and welcomed by our guide and driver and then transferred to your hotel. After check in at your hotel and receive a brief freshening up before begin your city tour with us. Heading to Yangon's colonial part, soon you realize Yangon is a unique city, unlike any other of its size in all of Southeast Asia. It is Myanmar's commercial capital with a population of more than five millions. Take a walking tour to get a sense of Yangon's beauty with its picturesque lakes, verdant parks as well as its charming people. Next, you are about to see the highlighted destinations of Yangon. It all starts with a visit to Chaukhtatgyi Temple which holds the biggest reclining Buddha statue in Southeast Asia. Afterwards, wander around Sule Pagoda which is Myanmar's oldest pagoda of 2,500 years old. During the day, you attention might be caught by the spectacular image of Shwedagon Pagoda - patient, let's save the best for the last. When the sun sets, you will experience the wonder of this inspiring pagoda, being left breathless with its vivid color and sacred atmosphere.
