Yangon - City tour

Upon arrival Yangon, our guide will warmly welcome you at the airport and transfer to your hotel for check-in. We will start a full day visit of the peaceful capital by experiencing the life of people along the Yangon River. Then, we walk in the Pansoedan Street to get a glimpse of solemn French colonial buildings which stores a part of the Burmese history. Leave the street, we continue our journey to the Sule Pagoda which has a collection of the original Indian stupa structures. The Pagoda also has a wonderful dome structure and highlights with a 48 -meter golden tower, which extends into the skyline. The City Hall is another interesting place when traveling to Yangon. The Hall is considered a fine example of Syncretic Burmese architecture, featuring traditional tiered roofs called pyatthat. Mahabandola Garden is the last destination in the morning. Coming to the Garden, you can relax with grass field and flowers. In the afternoon, we will continue discovering other slices of Burmese’s life in the capital by visiting the Bogyoke Market. Anything in Myanmar, from common products like clothing and foods to luxurious products like gem, jewelry and souvenirs are sold in this market. Afterward, we climb up the Shwedagon Pagoda for a sunset view seemed to be the best ending for the day. Stay overnight in Yangon.

Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo - Golden Rock

After breakfast, we will drive to Kin Pun, 194 km from Yangon and visit the famous Kyaikhtiyo Temple, also called the Golden Rock. This temple locates in the mountains northeast of Yangon hanging over a steep cliff. Around the pagoda is an atmosphere of devotion with the burning candles, the chanting of devotees, the smell of incense sticks and the offerings being made to the shrine. Before leaving, we don't forget to enjoy the sunset from the edge. Stay overnight at Kyaikhtiyo.

Kyaikhtiyo - Bago - Yangon

After breakfast at hotel, we drive back to Yangon via Bago. By the way, we will stop at Bago and discover some well known destinations here. Take visits to the Mon style Shwemawdaw Pagoda the tallest pagoda in Myanmar which can be seen from around 10 kilometers outside of the city, the 55 meter long reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha which is covered by the dense forest and the four seated Buddhas at Kyaikpun and the majestic palace of Kambozathadi. Yangon - Bagan sightseeing

In the afternoon, we continue explore the ancient city of Bagan through Manuha Temple and Nan Phaya Temple. These temples have been built for a long time. Bagan - Mt Popa - Sale - Bagan

Early in the morning, we spend one hour driving from Bagan to Mt.Popa. It is believed that Mt. Popa is the core of an extinct volcano last active 250000 years ago. The fertile earth on the slope and the surrounding plains has covered with a large number of rare plants such as orchids and a profusion of tree. Perhaps, the best feeling is when we reach the top of Mt. Popa after 30 minutes climbing up. En route we will stop to visit the sugar factory to know how they make sugar from palm tree. In the afternoon, we move to Sale (Salay) located on the eastern bank of the Irrawaddy River. Afterward, we visit the biggest Lacquer Buddha and many other monasteries in the country. Bagan - Mandalay by morning flight

Take a morning flight to Mandalay. The day will start at the oldest and most important market in Mandalay - Zegyo Market. The market is full of life, sights, smells and sounds of daily life of the locals. After discovering Zegyo Market, we move to Mahamuni Temple which contains a huge bronze Buddha image covered in thick layers of gold. Coming to Mahamuni Temple, tourists will have chance to witness the lifestyle differences of the people. Afterward, we visit the gold leaf workshop to witness the making process. Only by a precise hammer blow, 24K gold is transformed into super thin gold leaves. Besides, we will move to the marble street where you can witness the local people carving hundred- year marbles into figurines. For the rest of the day, we will visit some handicraft workshops such as puppet shaping, wood carving and bronze casting workshops. In the late afternoon, we stop off at the most picturesque U Bein Bridge on Taungthaman Lake.

Mandalay - Sagaing - Ava - Amarapura - Mandalay

Sagaing is our first stop for the 9th day journey. Then we go to Ava by a horse-cart. In Ava, tourists have chance to visit the Bagaya Monastery and villages. After that, we will explore the third ancient city Amarapura. For years, the city has been one of the famous destinations in Myanmar for its traditional silk and cotton weaving, as well as bronze casting. Mandalay - Heho, Pindya - Inle

In the early morning, we will take a flight to Heho. From Heho, we will head to Pindaya Cave which contains 8000 Buddha images inside. Inlay Lake sightseeing by boat

After having breakfast, we move to Inle Lake by boat. On the surface of the lake, you can see floating villages, floating gardens, floating markets, several traditional villages such as forging, weaving and so on. The most special sight on Inle Lake is floating gardens where the local use the water hyacinth combining with seaweed on the bottom of the lake to keep the soil to grow more vegetables such as tomatoes, mint, etc. Around the lake have many temples and monasteries with golden pinnacles brightening on the sunlight. On the Inle Lake, we visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda where houses the five Buddha images. These images are covered with gold in order to make visitors not be able to see the original form. Leave Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, we continue to Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery to see well- trained jumping cats. Afterward, we move to the weaving village of Inpawkhon. Stay overnight on the Inle Lake.

It will be a shortcoming if you are on Inle Lake without discovering the life of the leg- rowing Intha fishermen. Today, we will spend time meeting them and listening to their sharing of life and difficulties in life. Then we move by boat to Indeinn to witness the farmers harvesting their crops and rarely-known site of Indein which still remains hundreds of ancient brick stupas and pagodas dated back to 17 century the ancient Shweinndein Pagoda. You also have chance to try rowing by legs with the local fisherman. Besides, they will teach you the way to catch fishes. The attraction which only has on Inle Lake Myanmar is the image of men in traditional longyi standing on boat, just fishing and rowing unhurriedly by one leg, which can be seen as an artist on the smooth surface of the lake. The pictures of local fishermen mixing with the red sunset will not probably make you forget.

Taunggyi - Kakku - Taunggyi sightseeing

Today, we drive back to Kakku via Taunggyi. It is believed that the village is one of the most attractive destinations in South Myanmar. Here, there is a collection of top rated sights including temples, pagodas, Taunggyi colorful tribes markets and some historical places. Our first stop will be Pa- O villages. It seems that everything from lifestyle of people and scenery remained unchanged over time. Besides, we also visit daily market on the way and the ancient Kakku Buddhist Stupas. Heho - Yangon - Ngwe Saung

Situated to the west of Myanmar in the Bay of Bengal, about 30 miles from Pathein, the capital city of Ayeyarwaddy Division, Ngwe Saung is one of the must-visit beaches in Myanmar. The reason that attracts most visitors coming here is an uncrowded and breathtaking atmosphere. It is rare to find vendors or an upmarket tourist destination on the beach.
