Yangon Arrival

Upon arrival in Yangon International Airport, you will receive a warm welcome from our tour guide and transfer to the hotel. Your first day of sightseeing will start at Yangon city with a drive through the colonial style buildings downtown. Then move to the center point near Sule Pagoda for photo stop. From here you can have view of city hall and independence monument. After that the tour guide will assure to take you to Chaukhtatgyi Temple to contemplate the huge image of Buddha. On the way to Shwedagon Pagoda, we will stop at Kandawgyi Lake and take some photos of the beautiful site. The huge Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon is a spectacular work of Burmese temple architecture and is the holiest Buddhist shrine in Myanmar. With the height of 99 meters, it's amazing moment when enjoying the sunset on top of the pagoda. Stay overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Yangon - Bagan

  Fly to Bagan, visit Nyaung Oo local market, Shwezigon Pagoda, Ananda, Gubyaukgyi, Htilominlo, lacquerware workshop and Sulamani Temple

After breakfast at hotel, we transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Bagan home of numerous ancient pagodas, shrines, stupas, monuments and monasteries. Today we will have chance to visit the highlights of Bagan such as Nyaung Oo local market to see the locals in their traditional costume exchanging their goods and products bustlingly, Shwezigon Pagoda, Ananda - one of the most surviving masterpieces of the Mon architecture, Gubyaukgyi, Htilominlo - a large three story red brick (with some stone) temple on a low platform. To continue the tour, we explore lacquerware workshop and Dhammayangyi Temple - famous for its interlocking mortar less brickwork and Sulamani Temple. To complete the day, we visit Shwesandaw stupa and then climb up to its top. From here, we can enjoy the spectacular views over Bagan's temples and the Ayeyarwady River. Bagan

  Explore Lemethna Temple, Payathonzu, Nandamanya temple, explore the life of locals in Minnanthu village, and discover Abeyardanar, Nanpaya temple, Manuha pagoda

Morning go to discover Lemethna temple, the three shrines of Payathonzu and Nandamanya temple. Then we move to Minnanthu village to observe the lifestyle of the local people. In the afternoon, we will plan visiting Abeyardanar Temple with frescoes representing Bodhisattvas and the gods of Indian mythology. After that, we move to Nanpaya Temple which is a Hindu temple located in a village of the southern part of Bagan. We also contemplate the four Buddha images in Manuha's pagoda before stoping at Myazedi stupa to watch Myanmmar's "Rosetta Stone". Stay overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Bagan - Mandalay

  Fly to Mandalay, visit Mahamuni Buddha, a craftsman’s workshop, Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung, Kuthodaw Pagoda, enjoy the view of plain at dusk

Early morning, we will fly to Mandalay and have a full day of religious-site visit. Mandalay is the economic hub of Upper Burma and considered the centre of Burmese culture. We firstly stop at Mahamuni Buddha, which is covered with thick layer of gold leaves. Then, we move to a craftsman’s workshop to witness the making process of puppets, tapestries and gold leaves. Drive to hotel for check-in procedure. In the afternoon, we have a chance to go further into the city and discover many other famous destinations. First of them is Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung, which is also known as Golden Palace monastery and built by Royal family. Then, we move to Kuthodaw Pagooda- the world’s largest book. The pagoda is surrounded by 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. To complete the day, we will climb up to the Mandalay Hill where we can enjoy the panorama of the plain which is dyed in the red of sunset. Stay overnight in Mandalay.

Mandalay - Amarapura - Sagaing - Mandalay

The day is chance for us to walk around Mandalay city and discover its famous destinations. Firstly, we will stop at Amarapura - "the city of Immortality" in the Mandalay Division of Myanmar. Coming to Amarapura, visitors can still see the tombs of King Bodawpaya. Beside, the place is also famous for the Silk Weaving Industry. Afterward, we continue to Mahagandayon Buddhist monastery and Ava. To explore the land of Ava, we will move by horse cart and pass through the rice paddy fields where contains ruined stupas and old place. We continue our journey to Sagaing Hill- the living center of the Buddhist faith in Myanmar today. Around the Hill, there are plenty of stupas scattered for visitors to contemplate. At dusk, we will visit the most picturesque U Bein Bridge on Taungthaman Lake. Stay overnight in Mandalay.

Mandalay - Heho - Inle

  Fly to Heho, visit the family owned Shan paper umbrella workshop and Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery on the way to Inle Lake, discover Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Ywa Ma village and Kay Lar Village.

In the early morning, we take a flight to Heho. From here, we drive to Inle Lake via the Beautiful landscape of Shan state. Inle Lake has long been considered "Emerald of Myanmar". Up and down the lake have many temples, monasteries with golden pinnacles brightening on the sunlight. On the way to Inle Lake we will visit the family owned Shan paper umbrella workshop and Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery. Afternoon, discover Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda where houses the five Buddha images. These images are covered with gold in order to make visitors not be able to see the original form. Leave Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, we continue to Ywa Ma village and Kay Lar Village before turn back to your hotel. Stay overnight on Inle Lake.

Inle Lake

The most special sight on Inle Lake is floating gardens where the local use the water hyacinth combining with seaweed on the bottom of the lake to keep the soil to grow more vegetables such as tomatoes, mint, etc. Today we move by boat to Indeinn to witness the farmers harvesting their crops and rarely-known site of Indein which still remains hundreds of ancient brick stupas and pagodas dated back to 17 century the ancient Shweinndein Pagoda. It will be a shortcoming if you are on Inle Lake without discovering the life of the leg- rowing Intha fishermen. Today, we will spend time meeting them and listening to their sharing of life and difficulties in life. You also have chance to try rowing by legs with the local fisherman. Besides, they will teach you the way to catch fishes. The attraction which only has on Inle Lake Myanmar is the image of men in traditional longyi standing on boat, just fishing and rowing unhurriedly by one leg, which can be seen as an artist on the smooth surface of the lake. The pictures of local fishermen mixing with the red sunset will not probably make you forget. In order to have a perfect end for our tour, we will enjoy the sunset over the lake from hotel's terrace. Inle Lake - Heho - Yangon - Departure
