Mingalaba! As you show up in Yangon airport, you will be greeted and welcomed by our guide and driver and then transferred to your hotel. After check-in and relaxation, we commence city tour around 3:00 pm in the afternoon. Firstly, we head to Yangon's colonial buildings, take a walking tour to get a sense of Yangon's beauty with its picturesque lakes, verdant parks as well as its charming people. Next up, visit Chaukhtatgyi Temple which holds the biggest reclining Buddha statue in Southeast Asia. Afterwards, wander around Sule Pagoda which is Myanmar's oldest pagoda of 2,500 years old. When the sun sets, you will experience the wonder of this inspiring pagoda, being left breathless with its vivid color and sacred atmosphere at Shwedagon Pagoda. After a long day, have a good night at your hotel in Yangon.

Bagan

• Activities:

  Fly to Bagan, visit Nyaung U market, Bagan's key ancient monuments including Shwezigon pagoda, Ananda temple, Gubyaukgyi, Htilominlo, Sulamani temples and sunset in Ayarwaddy River

After having breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for a domestic flight to Nyaung U. As you arrive, we will drive you to your hotel in Bagan to check in. On the way we drop by Nyaung U market to see people trading varieties of fresh foods and local products. Then start our trip by visiting Shwezigon Pagoda, the first gold pagoda built in Burma enshrining Gautama Buddha's relics and Ananda Temple, the home of four huge Buddha standing statues - each faces one of the four cardinal directions. Afterward, more temple visitations are carried out as we take you to Gubyaukgyi Temple at Myinkaba - an Indian style pagoda built in 1113 whose exteriors are still in good condition, Htilominlo Temple whose name means "blessings of the three worlds" containing four Buddha images facing four directions on its first floor, and Sulamani Temple - a Buddhist edifice rebuilt in 1994 from which Htilominlo Temple was built after. To finish your day in Bagan, enjoy sunset along the Ayarwaddy River.

Mount Popa

  Drive to visit and climb up Mount Popa, stop by sugar factory on the way back to Bagan

After healthy breakfast, meet up your guide and we spend one hour driving from Bagan to Mount Popa. It is believed that Mount Popa is the core of an extinct volcano last active 250000 years ago. The fertile earth on the slope and the surrounding plains has covered with a large number of rare plants such as orchids and a profusion of tree. Perhaps, the best feeling is when we reach the top of Mount Popa after 30- minute climbing up. Near Mount Popa, we can visit the sugar factory to know how they make sugar from palm tree. In the afternoon, we drive back to Bagan and spend a free afternoon for relax.

Warm note: From October to March, you can request a hot-air balloon ride which takes you above the charming Bagan plain and the impressive Ayeyarwaddy River to watch sunrise. Remember to get up early.

Pakkoku,Monywa

  Drive to Monywa via Pakokku, visit weaving & cheroot workshops, have sunset over Chindwin river in Monywa

Monywa

After breakfast at the hotel, explore great PhowunTaung Caves system with around 900 sandstone caves containing many carved Buddha images and well preserved mural paintings, the copper open mines and Mohnyin Than Buddha Pagoda, Boditahtaung Pagoda which houses the largest reclining Buddha image in Myanmar and the largest standing Buddha in the world nearby, Laykyun Setkyar.

Sagaing,Amarapura,Mandalay

  Drive to Mandalay, drop by Kaungmutaw pagoda, visit the local village of Ywadaung village and learn how they make traditional silver wears, view the beautiful city on top of Sagaing Hill, move to Amarapura and enjoy beautiful sunset at U Bein bridge

Travel to Mandalay. Upon arrival, visit its Kaungmutaw pagoda which is famous for its large white-washed edifice and 151-foot high dome, modeled after the Great Stupa in Sri Lanka. Then we head to Ywadaung village, traditional silver wears village and picturesque Sagaing Hill. Later on, we move forward to Amarapura to visit Mahagandayon monastery, the largest Buddhist monastery in Myanmar accommodating more than a thousand young monks. Lately, watch the unforgettable sunset over the iconic U Bein bridge.

Mingun

  Sail downstream to Mingun, visit unfinished Pahtodawgyi Pagoda & giant bell, continue to Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw pagoda and finish in Mandalay Hill at sunset

This morning we will be driven to Mandalay pier, and then embarked on a private boat upstream to Mingun. Our first stop in Mingun is the world’s largest unfinished Pahtodawgyi Pagoda. The pagoda's lower terraces feature slabs of marble bearing depictions of important scenes from the Jataka, literary works concerning the previous lives of the Buddha. Inside the temple, you can see an inscription stone that details the history of the temple's construction. Leave the pagoda, we will head to Mingun Bell which has a weight of 90 tons. After lunch break, we continue our journey to Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery, and a gold leaf beating workshop. We also go to Kuthodaw pagoda which houses the world’s largest book stand upright, setting in stone in the grounds. At dusk, if weather is fine, it would be an interesting end for the fourth sightseeing day if we climb up to the Mandalay Hill to enjoy the beautiful sunset and the panorama of the city behind.

Inle Lake

Morning fly to Heho, the primary air gateway to Inle Lake. It takes one hour to drive from Heho to Inle; along the way, soothe yourself with cool weather and peaceful settings. Drop by a Shan paper umbrella workshop to how skillful locals are to create these amazing handcrafts. Also, visit Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery which was constructed completely from teak and painted red. Show up in Inle Lake, we take a boat to visit Inle Lake with floating villages, floating gardens, floating markets, several traditional villages such as weaving. The most special sight on Inle Lake is floating gardens where the local use the water hyacinth combining with seaweed on the bottom of the lake to keep the soil to grow more vegetables such as tomatoes, mint, etc. Up and down the lake have many temples, monasteries with golden pinnacles brightening on the sunlight. Discover Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda where houses the five Buddha images. These images are covered with gold in order to make visitors not be able to see the original form. Leave Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, we continue to Ywa Ma village and Kay Lar Village before move to your hotel and check in.

Indein

Free afternoon at hotel and overnight in Inle Lake.

Yangon
